Applicants requiring assistance can contact DBHDS at (804) 663-7277.

The settlement agreement between the Commonwealth and the U.S. Department of Justice on Virginia’s Intellectual and Developmental Disability System requires the IFSP to run until 2021. The IFSP program will support a total of 1,000 individuals and families throughout Virginia each year from FY 2014 to FY 2021. The program supported 825 individuals in the first year of the program in FY 2013.
