• Regional Alcohol and Drug Awareness Resource Network (RADAR)

The RADAR network provides numerous publications to Community Services Boards and citizens. Popular handouts for adolescents and teens include the “TIPS FOR TEENS” series. Other Pamphlets are designed for parents or other adults.  Click on RADAR and e-mail your request.

• Substance Abuse Certification Alliance of Virginia (SACAVA)

SACAVA offers certifications from the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) for Certified Prevention Professional (ATOD) and Generalist. Other certifications offered are Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC), Certified Criminal Justice (Addictions) Professional (CCJP), and Certified Clinical Supervisor Certification (CCS). SACAVA will also offer the Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Professional (CCDP) in the near future.  For more information, check the Web site at http://www.sacava.org/.
