The Office of Substance Abuse Services (OSAS) plans, develops, directs, funds and monitors the delivery of comprehensive substance abuse services throughout the Commonwealth.  Four offices operate under the OSAS umbrella, performing four distinct functions.

SACAVA offers certifications from the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) for Certified Prevention Professional (ATOD) and Generalist. Other certifications offered are Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC), Certified Criminal Justice (Addictions) Professional (CCJP), and Certified Clinical Supervisor Certification (CCS). SACAVA will also offer the Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Professional (CCDP) in the near future.  For more information, check the Web site at http://www.sacava.org/.
