The Arc Day at the General Assembly
(Richmond) The Arc of Virginia is sponsoring The Arc's Day at the General Assembly, this coming Monday, February 20, 2006. Citizens and advocates will gather at the Bell Tower inside Capitol Square at 10 a.m. The Arc plans to stretch a paper chain of signatures, 3,000 feet long, across the lawn of the Capitol, and up toward the General Assembly Building. "A Life Like Yours" is the message of the paper chain, and the idea it wants to convey to state legislators.
