Coping with Terrorism
We are facing continued threats of terrorism and war. As we hear about the changing threat levels, many of us heed the advice from Federal, State, and local governments to prepare, using checklists for emergency supplies and disaster kits. However, there is another important step we must take to prepare for terrorism.
Terrorism is psychological warfare, and therefore it is critical that we prepare psychologically as well as physically.
This web site contains information that will help you recognize potential reactions to these continued threats and how to cope with them so you can be better prepared now, and in the event of another attack. Children may also be affected, and there is information to help you recognize their reactions and help them cope with these difficult times.
