- Quality Improvement Specialist
Job Description: The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services is seeking two (2) highly motivated, skilled and experienced individuals to develop a quality improvement infrastructure in order to collect and analyze data and produce quality improvement plans to improve community based services and to prevent negative outcomes. Will be responsible for staffing regional quality councils, assisting providers in developing quality improvement plans and providing consultation to providers. Responsible for working with DBHDS Project Teams to assure QI focus and outcomes are developed as required by the DOJ Settlement Agreement QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of quality improvement processes and planning. Ability to develop quality improvement measures and plans. Ability to work with providers of developmental services to develop quality improvement programs as required by the DOJ Settlement Agreement. Ability to develop comparable programs with providers of mental health and substance use disorder services. Knowledge of licensure and Medicaid standards for the delivery of waiver and other services for individuals with developmental, mental health and substance use disorders. Experience in quality management, quality improvement and development of quality measures and plans. Master’s degree in human services, organizational development and leadership, or related field preferred. An equivalent combination of training and experience indicating possession of the preceding knowledge and abilities may substitute for this education and experience.
Salary: $54,000-$72,000
