Southside - CHILDREN SERVICES THERAPIST
Job Description: Southside Community Services Board (SCSB) seeks licensed Therapist for its Family and Children Services Program to cover Halifax and Mecklenburg Counties, Virginia, providing outpatient therapy to seriously emotionally disturbed or at-risk children, adolescents (ages 3-18) and families. Performs clinical evaluations and intakes; develops treatment modalities; maintains effective working relationship with courts, schools, social services, and other agencies; and provides crisis intervention and emergency services. Maintains accurate documentation as required by all regulatory guidelines. Agency car provided for travel to sites. Will assist with relocation expenses. Master's degree in a human services field required with minimum of one year experience providing mental health services to children/adolescents. Must be Virginia licensed (LCSW or LPC) and maintain strict confidentiality, have documented crisis intervention experience, and possess valid driver’s license with safe driving record. Criminal history check and drug screening required. Salary negotiable based upon experience, education and qualifications (minimum $44,143). Excellent fringe benefits.
