Portsmouth Behavioral Healthcare Services - Case Manager (Substance Abuse)
Job Description: Performs quality substance abuse case management, service coordination, screening and assessments for a diverse group of consumers. Work involves monitoring service delivery; providing supportive counseling and intervention; and documenting consumers’ progress and maintaining records. EDUC/EXP: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education or related human services field; 1-3 years related experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Valid Virginia driver’s license required. Qualified applicants may be given a conditional employment offer. Actual employment is contingent upon the satisfactory results of a federal and state criminal background check, using fingerprints and a search of the Virginia Department of Social Services’ child abuse and neglect registry, as required by law.
Salary: $31,411
