Job Details

Richmond Behavioral Health - Case Manager, Senior Ė Mental Health

Job Description: Culpeper, VA. Full-time position performing intermediate professional and administrative work providing supervision and leadership to Case Managers; assessing clients needs and providing access to needed and appropriate services including treatment, rehabilitation and service linkage; and, case monitoring and client advocacy. Knowledge and aptitude in the following areas are preferred: community and agency resources and programs of regional and state sources for the community service population; interviewing and supportive counseling techniques; social casework techniques; human development and behavior; theories, principles, and techniques of individual, family, and group therapy; planning and supervising work of subordinates; and, analyzing facts and exercising sound judgment in arriving at conclusions. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelorís degree with major course work in the human services or related field and considerable experience in case management work for assigned special population. Possession of a valid Virginia driverís license with an acceptable driving record is required.

Salary: $38,824.50/annually
