Richmond Behavioral Health - Clinician – Intensive Care
Job Description: Culpeper, VA. Full-time position to provide responsible professional work by facilitation of the multidisciplinary team's identification of child/family strengths, resources, and needs, as well as establishment of a crisis plan; coordinate and monitor service provision including transition and discharge planning and follow up to referrals: and provide quality assurance for children with moderate to severe emotional difficulties, who are being served through the Comprehensive Services Act Office located in the Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock counties. General knowledge and aptitude in the following areas is preferred: the principles and practices of child and family therapy, child development, family structure, family systems therapy, providing care to the emotionally disturbed, socially dysfunctional, behaviorally disordered, mentally ill and/or substance abusive clients and their families; law and regulations regarding children’s services, educational standards, the Comprehensive Services Act for At Risk Youth and Families, local community service agencies, and state social service agencies; evaluate and screen clients; prepare adequate records and to report findings and data effectively; solve problems within scope of responsibility; establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, associates and the general public. A Master’s degree in the human services or related field is required. Degree must be in a license eligible field. Clinical or related experience is preferred. Possession of an appropriate driver's license that is valid in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Salary: $35,197.50/annually.
