Richmond Behavioral Health - Cook
Job Description: Culpeper, VA. On-call position to prepare meals and clean dishes and equipment; complete daily paperwork, such as inventory orders; review supplies to ensure adequate supplies are on hand; keep pantry in order and rotate stock; pick up local purchases; assist with unloading and loading supplies; and, receive orders by checking in, signing invoices, and receiving contributions. General knowledge in the following areas is preferred: materials and methods used in preparing meats, breads, and other foods on a large scale; the use and care of utensils and equipment; food values and nutrition; and, skill in cutting and carving meat. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and some commercial food service experience including consumer interaction. This is medium work requiring the exertion of up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; work requires stooping, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, fingering, and grasping. One year of experience in a commercial cooking setting is preferred.
Salary: $9.58 per hour
