Richmond Behavioral Health - Clinician – Emergency Services
Job Description: Position based primarily in Culpeper, VA with frequent travel to Warrenton and Orange. Part-time position to provide direct clinical service to clients involving intake, treatment planning, crisis intervention, prevention services, case management, and psychotherapy. Knowledge, aptitudes, and experience in the following areas are required: principles and practices of providing care to the emotionally disturbed, socially dysfunctional, behaviorally disordered, mentally ill, and/or substance abusive clients and their families; theories and techniques of counseling and crisis intervention; intake techniques and procedures; and, the ability to evaluate and screen clients. A Master’s degree in the human services or related field is required. Degree must be in a license eligible field. Clinical or related experience is preferred. Possession of Virginia Board of Health Professionals license preferred. Possession of an appropriate driver's license valid in the Commonwealth of Virginia with an acceptable driving record is required. 18.75 hours per week.
