District 19 - Residential Specialist (Petersburg or Emporia, VA)
Job Description: District 19 Community Services Board is currently seeking hourly Residential Specialist responsible for providing 24-hour residential services to adults. Position will provide support and supervision to assist individuals with skills training, community integration, medication management and problem solving. Successful applicant must have: high school diploma or equivalent; intellectual disability experience; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; and valid Virginia Driver’s License with acceptable driving record. Prefer candidates with credits towards an Associates or BA/BS degree in Human Services or related field, and one-year experience working in a residential setting; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Position above requires valid VA Driver's License with acceptable motor vehicle record, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screening.
