Eastern Shore - GREENHOUSE INSTRUCTOR

Job Description: The Eastern Shore Community Services Board (ESCSB) is recruiting for a full-time Greenhouse Instructor responsible for implementing a horticulture/retail training program for adults with developmental disabilities. Duties include instructing/overseeing the work of the program participants, growing products, and managing retail sales. (Minimum salary $22,200 with a comprehensive benefits package that includes retirement, health insurance, 15 days paid sick leave, and a minimum of 17 days paid vacation). The successful applicant is required to have position-related knowledge, skills, and abilities to include the ability to work with individuals with challenging behaviors and/or physical handicaps. The successful applicant must have a valid Virginia driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record in order to transport program participants. Applicants with an out-of-state license must submit a current copy of their driving record from their state. The individual accepting this position will be subject to a pre-employment drug test and nationwide criminal background check via fingerprinting.

Salary: Minimum $22,200
