Danville-Pittsylvania - Director of Day Services
Job Description: Responsible for overall management of Day Services. Assures the safety of consumers and that they are treated with dignity and respect. Assures the programs are in compliance with applicable licensing, certification, Community-Based Medicaid Waiver, and/or other quality assurance requirements. Responsible for budget preparation and for operating programs within budget limits. Responsible for staff recruitment, training and supervision and monitoring work schedules to assure appropriate coverage at all times. Assures appropriate Individualized Service Plans are developed and carried out by staff. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelorís Degree in psychology, social work, sociology, vocational rehabilitation, counseling or other Virginia DMAS approved Human Services degree required. Masterís Degree in a human services field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling or nursing) preferred. Virginia license or license- eligible as a clinical social worker, professional counselor, or clinical psychologist preferred. Two yearís experience in staff supervision, budget management, and program management required. One yearís experience in clinical services required. Fingerprinting, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug testing and CANIS Report will be required upon request. excellent fringe benefits.
Salary: $39,450 - $59,176
