Danville-Pittsylvania - Director of Compliance and Information Management Systems
Job Description: Under administrative supervision of the Executive Director, this position is responsible for establishment, coordination, and oversight of the Agency’s Quality Assurance and Compliance Program and Health Information/Information Technology Unit. Responsible for the Agency’s annual Performance Contract with the Dept of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and administrative functions required by the Contract. Responsible for Agency compliance with internal/external auditing sources; Dept of Medical Assistance Services; Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services; Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act; Human Rights; State Licensure; Freedom of Information Act; Occupational Safety and Health Administration; and the Agency’s Corporate Compliance Plan, Policies, and Procedures. Required - Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Services (Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology), Business Administration, Public Health, Public Administration, or related field, or Registered Nurse with equivalent experience; five years of increasingly responsible experience in healthcare programming, with three years of supervisory and administrative responsibilities involving program planning and implementation. Fingerprints, State and FBI Criminal Record Reports, Central Registry (CANIS) Report, and Drug Test will be required upon request. Preferred - Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Services (Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology), Business Administration, Public Health, Public Administration, or related field; five years of professional experience in quality assurance, utilization review, program planning and evaluation activities, and coordination in the area of clinical and/or community services, involving compliance with statutory regulations or a combination of education, training, and experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities; knowledge of the Virginia Community Services Board System. ANNUAL SALARY RANGE $54,273 to $81,410 with 10% increase for licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LCP. Excellent fringe benefits.
