Middle Peninsula-Northern Neck - Community Support Specialist
Job Description: Employee is responsible for the direct support needs and monitoring of consumers to maintain community stability in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment while also providing incentives and encouragement for clients to assume increasing responsibility for their lives. Work involves training in or reinforcement of functional skills and appropriate behavior related to the client’s health and safety, activities of daily living, community resources medication management and monitoring of health, nutrition and physical condition. Employee is assigned to locations within the CSB ten county catchment areas. Assignments may be to individuals living in personal homes, with parents or family members. Employee must exercise considerable initiative and judgment in the effective and efficient administration of departmental programs. Must also exercise tact and courtesy in contact with staff, clients, families, public and service providers.
Salary: $25,604/Annually
