Job Description: ATTENTION CLINICIANS (Experienced and Newly Graduated)!!! Central Virginia Community Services wants you! Found along the foothills of the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains, and easily accessible from Richmond, Roanoke, and Charlottesville; CVCS is one of the largest providers of behavioral and mental health services in Central Virginia. To help us continue providing quality care that will truly change the lives of children/adolescents, adults, and families, we are seeking eager and energetic Clinicians to join our team! Some of the opportunities our positions offer: _ Free weekly Licensed Clinical supervision and ongoing professional training _ Services to children and adolescents receiving outpatient psychiatric care; and for adults in a community setting; Therapeutic Day Treatment for children in regional schools _ Case management services to children/adults/families; Crisis Stabilization and Medical Detoxification_ Psychiatric/Mental Health and Substance Abuse Education for clients and their families; _ In-service education to staff; assess, develop, coordinate and provide treatment, and rehabilitation and support services to clients with severe and persistent mental illness _ develop and implement individual service plans for clients _ facilitate individual, group, and family sessions _ Collaboration with area medical practices to provide Integrated Healthcare. Our counseling departments have the philosophy of encouraging professional development including licensure, and encouraging creativity in development of client service.
