Highlands - Outpatient Therapist, Licensed - #9004
Job Description: DUTIES: Conducts and thoroughly documents comprehensive clinical assessments for adults and children, including thorough diagnostic assessments and other assessment components as required, and develops appropriate individualized treatment plans; enters service recordings and all required data accurately in Profiler; runs required reports weekly to review and correct any data entry errors and to review documentation compliance and needs; admits and discharges consumers both timely and accurately to the appropriate Outpatient Cost Center when providing services; participates as a team member within Outpatient Services to assure quality care and consumer satisfaction, positive outcome measures, and achievement of the Unit’s goals and objectives and participates as a team member and/or project manager in outpatient program planning, development and evaluation identifies resources in the community for consumers and recommends referrals as appropriate provides individual, family and group psychotherapy to adult, child, and adolescent consumers and their families; provides professional consultation and education to HCS staff, community agencies, and referral sources, industries, schools, groups, and individuals; develops, communicates, and sustains cooperative working relationships with all; follows up with physicians, probation officers, social workers, courts, and other referral sources to provide on-going communication and to facilitate future referrals; maintain confidentiality of consumer information at all time; conducts self in a professional manner, reflecting mutual dignity and respect at all times; complies with local, state and federal regulations and meet or exceed BHDS, Licensure, Medicaid, HIPAA and HCS Quality Assurance standards. POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Counseling/Social Work. Virginia License with extensive experience preferred.
