Highlands - Mental Health Support Counselor II
Job Description: DUTIES: Duties include working with adults in the community with serious mental illness in skill set training to include organizational skills, health and safety, budgeting, nutrition, locating safe and affordable housing to maintain community stability. An HCS application and resume must be submitted for consideration. Candidate must meet QMHP qualifications in accordance to the DMAS memo of 7/23/10 located at www.dmas.virginia.gov. POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in human services field and some clinical experience required. Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) required.
