Virginia Beach - Developmental Services Administrator
Job Description: The City of Virginia Beach is seeking a Developmental Services Administrator for the Department of Human Services – MR Program Clinical Support Division. Requires any combination of education (above the high school level) and/or experience equivalent to eleven years in fields utilizing the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above, such as social work, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related human services field, five years of which must be in a progressive management position such as Director of a Developmental Services organization or clinical supervisor/administrator of a major local/state mental health program unit. Individual directs the delivery of a variety of community-based services in the Developmental Services Division of the Human Services Department in compliance with Community Services Board (CSB) policies and state mandatory program standards to ensure responsiveness to community/client needs; provides ongoing education and assessment of program management issues for CSB Committee examination; directs program planning and development functions to provide continuum of care and discreet client service; directs program management and implementation procedures within the framework of a continuum of care; exercises financial management activities for directly operated programs consistent with CSB, city, state, and federal requirements.
Salary: $77,508.24 - $116,262.48
