District 19 - SA Therapist (Licensed)
Job Description: District 19 CSB has an excellent opportunity for full time employment providing treatment services to individuals with mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders in the Dinwiddie Clinic. Essential duties of this position include: conducting screenings and intakes, clinical evaluation, individual and group therapy, and case management functions, as well as documentation requirements associated with these functions. Successful applicant must have: Masterís degree in human services or related field, professional license (LCSW or LPC) through State of Virginia; considerable demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy to consumers with mental health, substance use and/or co-occurring disorders; proficiency with rendering substance abuse diagnoses, flexibility to work evenings; experience writing clinical reports/summaries and basic computer skills (Word/Excel) with adaptability to electronic records. Preferred qualifications: experience in criminal justice, crisis intervention and state of Virginia CSAC. A bilingual (English/Spanish) candidate is preferred. Starting salary is commensurate with experience/training. Excellent benefits include paid Sick, Annual and Holiday leave (including Birthday), group health insurance, and Virginia Retirement System. Flexible work schedule, including 4-day workweek, is possible in some positions. Position requires valid VA Driver's License with a point balance of -6 or higher, pre employment extensive background checks and drug screening.
