District 19 - Mental Health Therapist (Licensed)
Job Description: District 19 Community Services Board is seeking a qualified candidate to evaluate mental health support services to individuals with mental illness and/or intellectual disabilities. Essential duties of this position include: assessment and authorization of adults seeking mental health support services, supervision of QMHP eligible employees, quality assurance of documentation submitted to payer sources. The applicant will be responsible for the review and overall quality of Individual Service Plans and related consumer documentation. Successful applicant must have a Masterís degree in human services or a related field, be a Licensed Mental Health Professional (i.e. LPC, LCSW), have experience working with consumers with mental health illness; have computer skills, word processing and familiarity with basic office equipment. A bilingual (English/Spanish) candidate is preferred. Position is part time with hourly rate commensurate with experience and training. No benefits. This position will rotate between our Petersburg, Hopewell, Dinwiddie and Emporia locations. Hours are flexible. Position above requires pre-employment background checks and drug screening, and valid VA Driverís License with a point balance of -6 or higher.
