Job Description: POSITION INFORMATION: The Western Tidewater Community Services Board, a community-based behavioral healthcare organization based in Suffolk, Virginia., has an immediate need for a Board Certified Psychiatrist to provide services to children and adolescents up to age 21. The WTCSB Medical Services Department is an essential part of our full array of services for persons with mental illness, substance abuse, intellectual impairment and co-occurring disabilities. Comprised of a Board Certified Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner, part-time Adult Psychiatrist, and two part-time Child Psychiatrists, our Medical Team provides services that include evaluations and medication management. QUALIFICATIONS: State of Virginia License to practice Psychiatry and Board Certification is required. Work experience with SMI and Co-occurring populations, and children/youth with MH and/or SED issues is required. Work experience with a diverse population in a community setting is preferred.

Copy of College Transcripts, Virginia License and Board Certification must be included with application packet. Faxed information or incomplete packets will not be considered.
