Western Tidewater - CLINICIAN II

Job Description: GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Rapid response required to provide crisis intervention and necessary support to children and adolescents in their homes, school or other community setting to prevent out-of-home placement. As necessary, complete pre-screening assessments and assist with locating appropriate inpatient/residential treatment settings. The incumbent will also provide emergency case management and linkage and/or referrals to other community agencies. QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in a Human Services field (including Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling); License Eligible or capable of being License Eligible within 3 months of hire; one (1) year clinical experience in a MH/SA facility or similar setting; State of Virginia Pre-Screener Certification; valid drivers license with acceptable DMV record at time of hire and continuously thereafter.
