District 19 - School Based Therapist
Job Description: District 19 CSB is seeking a therapist to provide services to children/adolescents in the school setting. Essential job duties of this position include: completing SA/MH assessments and treatment goals, individual and group counseling, appropriate documentation, and networking with the community. Successful applicant must have Masterís degree in Human Services field; demonstrated experience providing MH/SA services; basic computer skills and experience using basic office equipment. Preferred qualifications: license (i.e. LCSW, LPC or eligible), clinical experience working with children, and crisis intervention experience. A bilingual (English/Spanish) candidate is preferred. This is a 10 Ĺ month school based on-going position with a work schedule from September through June, to coincide with the school year. Start date for this position will be August 18, 2014. Starting salary is commensurate with experience/training. Excellent benefits include paid Sick, Annual, and Holiday leave (including Birthday), group health insurance, and Virginia Retirement System. Position requires valid VA Driver's License with a point balance of -6 or higher, pre employment extensive background checks and drug screening.
