District 19 - Crisis Stabilization Provider
Job Description: District 19 Community Services Board is offering a PRN position for a Crisis Stabilization Provider to provide short-term crisis stabilization to adults throughout the D19 service areas. Essential duties of this position are: crisis interventions to stabilize psychiatric conditions, problem solving to prevent escalation of psychiatric symptoms, assist in returning consumer to pre-crisis state or better, collaboration with treatment staff and clinical documentation. Successful applicant must have: Bachelorís degree in human services or a related field with at least 15 credits of human service or a Registered Nurse, experience working with adults with an SMI diagnosis; experience working with consumers experiencing a MH Crisis, experience with clinical record documentation and basic computer skills. Preferred qualification: familiarity with local resources. A bilingual candidate (English/Spanish) is preferred. Position offers PRN flexible hours Monday through Sunday as needed. Position above requires a valid driverís license for their state of residence and have a point balance of Ė6 or higher, Pre-employment extensive background check and drug screening. Starting salary is commensurate with experience/training.
