Chesapeake - Senior Case Manager

Job Description: Crossroads Community Services Board has a full time position to provide supervision of the clinical case managers within the Amelia Clinic and assure compliance with program, state, and federal regulatory requirements. The position is responsible for case management services to children, adolescents and adults with mental illness(es), mental retardation, and/or dually diagnosed with chemical addictions. This includes clinical assessment, treatment planning, linking with community services, aggressive outreach and follow-up. The position includes assisting the Director of Long Term Care Services in serving as liaison to State and private psychiatric facilities. The position serves to represent the Services Board at commitment hearings for consumers admitted to private and state psychiatric facilities. A graduate level degree in the human service field is preferred. Previous work experience in providing services to the mentally disabled, chemically dependent and multi-impaired population with at least one year of providing staff supervision is required. He/she must possess an extensive knowledge and experience in assessment, counseling and provision of case management treatment services to mentally ill/chemically dependent individuals. A valid Virginia driver's license is required.

Salary: $33,072 - $40,167 to start
