Chesapeake - Mental Health/Substance Abuse Therapist

Job Description: Charlotte Clinic, Charlotte CH, Virginia - Crossroads Community Services Board has four full time positions to provide outpatient clinical services, consultation and case management services within the assigned program site. He/she provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment through a variety of modalities and procedures for those individuals suffering from mental illness, emotional disorders, substance abuse and development disabilities. He/she provides crisis intervention, pre-screening for hospitalization, and referral for community support services. A graduate level degree in the human services field is required as well as license eligibility by the Virginia Board of Health Sciences as a LCP, LCSW, or LPC. The incumbent must be a Certified CSB Pre-screener. Previous internship or work experience with the mentally disabled or substance abusing population in areas of counseling and treatment is required.

Salary: $35,459 - $41,182 to start
