Norfolk - Counselor III, Crisis Counseling Services

Job Description: Assesses individuals in crisis to provide or link the individual and/or significant others with needed mental health services in the least restrictive setting, thus diverting individuals when possible from State Hospital care to community based care. Qualifications: Master’s degree in a human services field or Registered Nurse certification plus considerable mental health and co-occurring SA/MI/MR experience. Successful completion of the DMHMRSAS Approved Certification Training Program for Pre-admission Screening Evaluators preferred. VA licensed professional preferred. Requires acceptable computer skills and driving record.

Salary: $37,794
