Richmond Behavioral Health Authority - Healthy Start Counselor - SA Unit

Job Description: The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a full-time, energetic and highly motivated substance abuse services professional with a good working knowledge of the disease of addiction and current AOD evidence based treatment practices to provide individualized intensive case management services to pregnant and postpartum women who are addicted to alcohol and/or other drugs. Incumbent may provide group facilitation, transportation, linkages to resources within the agency and in the larger community, and treatment referrals. Training and experience in the treatment and case management of adults with substance use disorders is required. CSAC and/or CAC certification preferred, and/or advanced education in addictions counseling or a related field. This position requires a Bachelors degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation counseling or related field, as well as a valid Virginia driver’s license.

Salary: $39,138.00 - $52,837.00
