Central Virginia Community Services - Chief Psychiatrist

Job Description: Central Virginia Community Services one of Central VA’s largest community mental health center’s is currently looking for a Chief Psychiatrist to provide direct services to chronically mentally ill adults and dually diagnosed adults (mental illness, substance abuse, and/or intellectual disabilities). This position will be responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations, consultations and medication management services to adult clients in an outpatient clinic setting, serving Lynchburg and the surrounding counties as well as supervise a team of nurses and contracted psychiatrists. Regular participation in case disposition conferences will also be a responsibility for this position. Excellent clinical, documentation and communication skills are needed. BC required.
